Well, for 17 years now I've been covering the arts, entertainment, culture, restaurants and travel for a broad variety of local, regional, national and international publications. I've written thousands of CD, film, video game and restaurant reviews and interviewed thousands of actors, directors, musicians, authors and leaders spanning the civic and political spectrum. But until now I've never had a site of my own.
My partner, Mary, and I love exploring this big, beautiful world of ours. Whether it's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, a great band from halfway around the world, a little-known indie film or a Third World country we've never explored, we try to approach life with curiosity and a hunger for knowledge, connection and understanding. We thought it would be great to share our thoughts and experiences with our friends and other explorers seeking similar journeys of discovery. Hopefully we can make some new friends along the way.
